Whether you want to listen to previews of her songs, get all the latest Adele news, watch videos, check tour dates, buy gig tickets, chat to similarly obsessive Adelettes, post your own thoughts and photos, or merely stare at photos of the Brit winning, Grammy killing star, this slick-looking app delivers the lot.

THE EXPERIENCE

Okay, it’s obviously one strictly for the fans and unlikely to be of much interest to anyone else, but as free app packages go those aforementioned fans will find very little to complain about here – yes, it can be a little unresponsive at times, but the pros more than outweigh the cons, plus I don’t imagine many fans of the sometimes-singing sore-throat suffering songstress will be hyperactive types overly concerned with speed issues.

THE BOTTOM LINE

As a middle-aged man now more worried about greying hair and my own mortality than keeping up with the latest pop music, the Adele phenomena is largely something that passed me by, but as artist apps go this is a prime example of how to do it well, packed as it is with pretty much everything the average Adele fan could desire. Even if you’re unfamiliar with Adele’s oeuvre once they sort the bugs out this could even be an app for Someone Like You… which I’m informed is one of her songs.

Now if only they’d produce a similar one for Chicory Tip…
