As a fairly textbook narcissist, I often can’t find enough ways to share my photos (particularly those of me) with people online on the go. Well, now for me, the similarly vainglorious and wannabe David Baileys alike, we have a new app in the Android arsenal: Flikr.
Most savvy web users will probably be more than familiar with Flikr, but the app offers even more – an in-app camera, image enhancement with custom filters, direct uploads to your Flikr account, instant sharing over Facebook, Twitter and email, geotagging to keep track of where photos were taken, full-screen browsing and the ability to add descriptions and tags.
A breeze to use, images are kept in high resolution format for later editing and printing, if you so wish, and the length of time from image capture to upload and social media sharing is literally a matter of seconds for the fleet of finger.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Fast and fun to use, while we’re treading pretty much the same territory as many other snap-apps here, including the due-on-Android soon Instagram, Flikr's design is sharper, the interface more intuitive and the whole experience, well, simply better. Plus, considering that the Flikr community can boast some 60 million members, I think it would be fair to say that 60 million people can't be wrong.
Just be careful that the pics you do share with said 60 million people are not of the, ahem, ‘candid’ variety, or you could end up enduring the same kind of unwanted fame as that Tulisa Contostavlos…
