Twitter has provided a fun-to-use Android app with lots of flourishes. Pull the list of tweets down and it springs back to refresh it. Swipe across the screen and you load a ribbon of options including reply, retweet and even share by Facebook, Gmail and other methods. This swipe also provides you with others’ bio and other details. You can set the refresh interval to suit and there are choices for photo upload services and URL shortening. The trends page is a useful guide to what’s hot: on the iPhone this is just a part of the Search page.
