There are certain simple pleasures in life that everyone, regardless of sex, nationality or religion, enjoys: a stunning sunset; a cool drink of water on a long hot day; shooting marauding zombies in the face at point-blank range with a shotgun in the midst of an undead uprising – those kinds of things.
Well, thanks to the undue generosity of the good people at Madfinger Games, now there’s more of that last item to go around than ever as their ‘differently alive’ eliminating shoot ’em up, Dead Trigger, gets updated and expanded.
Already eminently enjoyable, now the cool console-quality corpse killer features two all-new arenas – Stadium of Dead and Deadly Corridors – a selection of extra story missions, a brace of fresh weapons with which to wreak undead devastation, and a number of other tweaks to improve the overall experience.
Initially costing 75p but forced to go free due to piracy problems, as an added bonus to those that paid the pennies the game’s new Alien Gun comes for free along with a healthy helping of casino chips.
Finally, featuring an improved auto-aim, now Dead Trigger is bigger, better and badder than ever. We gave it a 9.8 on our initial paid-for review, but now that Madfinger have upped the undead ante, we reckon you can make that a straight 10 out of 10.
