Basically a bookmarker that allows you to collate content you find scattered across the wilds of the internet like fact-litter, and then organise it to suit your own online OCD and share with anyone you think may be (P)interested, the massively popular system was previously only available on the net and via something called the ‘iPhone’ (we’re none the wiser) to those entreated to enter, but as of Tuesday the floodgates opened and a fresh new, optimised for Android app appeared.
Free, clever and guaranteed to prove as popular with open source OS aficionados as it was with the Apple sauce obsessives, Pinterest should prove to provide the last piece of the puzzle for mobile Narcissists who, not content with mere status updates and constant Twitter chatter, can now keep all Followers and Friends fully informed on what interests them too.
