It had to happen and for Google employees it’ll be happening as soon as this September – wheeling its way out anon is the more than remotely desirable remote control Android… erm, android!
Produced by RC toy manufacturers par excellence, Bladez Toyz, the inflatable android stands 65cm tall, is capable of moving forwards and backwards, has a 360º turning circle, and is awaiting final approval before being rolled out for those employed by the Big G to get their sticky mitts on.
But, as always, the rumour mill has been hard at work and the gist of the grist is that, if the RC Android turns out to be a success with said employees, there’s an excellent chance these little plastic pals will be mass produced and made available to Android aficionados for a price between £40 and £45.
The latest in a line of air-filled RC characters that includes the likes of R2D2, whether the inflatable Android is a hit with those on the Google payroll or not, we think they should be made available to all and sundry anyway, because we’ll take half a dozen right now!
