As of tomorrow Android addicts will find a whole new world of online entertainment opened up to them as NOW TV goes live for PC, Mac and those toting the open source Google OS (with all things ‘i’ to follow later in the month).
A new internet TV service from that nice Mr Murdoch over at Sky, NOW TV gives instant, no-commitment access to the whole of Sky Movies, with films available for rent from 99p for a ‘classic’ to £3.49 for the latest silver screen smashes via ‘pay & play’.
Also on offer is the Sky Movies Pass which, for £15 per month, permits unlimited rummaging of the 600-strong Sky Movies collection, with titles available from all the big hitters at Disney, Fox, Paramount, Sony and Warner Bros.
“NOW TV will bring more choice to UK consumers and an easy way to enjoy amazing movies, instantly. Following the explosion in internet-connected devices, we know that more and more people are looking for great content to watch over the web, and that’s where NOW TV comes in. Offering a new and exciting way to enjoy Sky Movies on some of the most popular internet-connected devices, NOW TV gives films fans everywhere a new choice.” Said Simon Creasey, Director, NOW TV. “As we move forward, NOW TV will get even bigger and better, with more devices and more platforms in the coming months. Customers can also look forward to the best live action from Sky Sports and great drama, comedy and entertainment from our Sky channels.”
With Sky Sports set to follow suit soon, as from tomorrow, all you need is an Android device and an internet connection and the Sky’s the limit…
