Launched today and set to bring even more hot gaming action to Android owners everywhere, say hello to Sony’s sparkling new shop and your online access to endless amusement: PlayStation Mobile.

As the name may have given away, an internet purveyor of PlayStation pearls, owners of the PS Vita and a selection of Android devices can now buy and download a variety of games running the gamut from all-new to PS minis, ports from iOS and Google Play apps.

Launching with a line-up of 20 available titles such as Twist Pilot, Everybody’s Arcade and Magic Arrows, to name three at random, Android access is currently limited to 12 different PlayStation Certified devices, but Sony has stated that many more will soon be certified to play nice with PlayStation.

Registration is required on the Sony Entertainment Network and, of course, you’ll need to download the app from Google Play, but once you’re tooled up it’ll not just be the apps that keep you entertained, it’ll be playtime all the time.
