The all-new, Andrew Garfield-starring, action blockbuster hits cinema screens nationwide next week and, as avid fans of Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-man, we’ve already got the web-slinging bug. Fortunately then, the developers behind some of the greatest gaming apps ever to grace the Google OS, Gameloft, have just launched the official Spidey app on Android.
The first time the franchise has made its way onto the mobile, now Android owners can swing and crawl their way through an immersive storyline inspired by the movie (with over 25 missions), as Spidey faces off against the Lizard and rampaging gangs through an open, fully 3D New York.
Climb, jump and web-sling from building to building, picking up collectables and exploring viewpoints along the way throughout five distinctive districts, using Spider-Man’s skills and beating the justice into an array of wrong ’uns using melee moves, ranged moves and special combos to unlock.
