The Week in Android

Winding it up for another week, I think you’ll find that the weekend is already underway and that, yet again, we’ve allowed our Android exuberance to run riot to a point where sensible people would normally be heading home (or to the pub).

But, before we part for our forced two-day separation, take my hand once last time as I guide you, not unlike the small boy in The Snowman, through the sky and over a rolling recap of the week just gone.

Ready? Come on then! We’re walking in the air, we’re floating in the Android sky, the something down below, are… dum de dum de dum…

THE APPS

Jaws Revenge

Ever played a game from the point of view of a big, angry fish? Then get set to dive into an aquatic inhabitant app with real bite. Akin to the likes of Piranha 3DD, welcome to the ocean-going genre’s new Great White option. See fins from our perspective here.

Global Outbreak

A zombie apocalypse app that’s not all about the guts, gore, blood and brains? Yes, as unlikely as it seems, it can be done and it can be done exceptionally well, so train your mercenaries and show no mercy in this fresh take on the flesh eaters. Full briefing here, soldier.

Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle

A lavish, epic social gamer that summons the spirit of knights and nobility, build your city, pick off the Picts and make good friends or mortal enemies with other players all across Albion. Get the lay of the land here.
