One strictly for our American fan-base now – hi Bob! – as an app for sociable US city slickers makes its way onto Android…

Like it or not, Christmas is coming. The supermarkets have been peddling Santa-themed stockings since September and it won’t be long now before the sound of seasonal slush is given its annual airing outside everywhere, ad nausea.

However, on the plus side, despite all the oncoming expense of unavoidable gift-getting, it also means that the party season is soon to arrive. But rather than stick to the usual hastily arranged drinks with friends and/or colleagues at the same bar you always go to, why not mix things up this year, even last minute, with the aid of an app?

I speak of Thrillcall, a new-to-Android app designed to help people discover, find and buy tickets to live music, last-minute, allowing users access to exclusive offers to live shows every day, VIP access, tickets to sold out shows, backstage passes, complimentary merchandise and intimate events, etc., and a complete listing of that evening’s music in every major city.

Initially launched on iOS in February 2012, since then Thrillcall has successfully rolled out local, exclusive offers in the likes of Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco, with more cities such as Austin and Chicago to follow suit.

Seeking to bring a savage smartphone end to scattered ticket listings and convoluted purchase methods for the last-minute live-lover, Thrillcall eases the gig-goer’s experience by streamlining the ticketing process, providing the information, the deal, and the one-click access to ticket purchase all live on the same screen.

So, American-types, while we would never interfere in your politics by suggesting you should not vote for a man who doesn’t understand why you can’t open the windows in an airplane, we are, however, strongly suggesting you head to Google Play, download Thrillcall immediately, and gear up for great gig glad tidings.
