Having launched in the US way back in July, Google’s updated Android Market app has finally transitioned over to UK smartphones.
Alongside a fresh lick of paint for the app, it is reportedly faster and sports some neat Google+ sharing features too. Also included is a chart for the top trending apps, an editors choice highlight and a greater range of featured apps.
In addition to +1-ing their favourite apps, users can also share their top picks on Facebook, Gmail, Twitter and Whatsapp. Oh the choices!
If, in some bizarre twist of fate, you don’t already have Market already installed on your Android, you can download the app from the Android Market. Bit of a confusing one that.

Thanks for the comments guys. The Market update is definitely good for smartphones as well as tablets. Early reports suggest it has been rolled out across Samsung handsets first but we expect it to be made available across most Android devices as time goes on.
