Video preview: Cut The Rope coming to Android
Smash hit iPhone game finally gets Android makeover
With a whopping six million iPhone downloads and counting under its belt its safe to say that Cut the Rope is a casual gaming phenomenon. Droid users have long looked on, Android green with envy, desperately waiting for word that Cut the Rope is coming to the Google platform. Well now the torture is nearly over because a video dispatch from developers Zeptolab shows an Android version in action.
Maddeningly, there’s no news of a release date but the video (watch after the jump) shows the Android conversion looking almost identical to the iPhone title. For those oblivious to Cut the Rope’s addictive charms, the game involves feeding a green monster with sweets dangled high above on thread. You get the sweet in the critter’s gapping gob by, yes you guessed it, cutting the ropes. But of course, levels get increasingly difficult and a healthy dose of puzzle solving is required. read more
