Google: 3 billion Android apps now installed
Big G also announce downloads up 50% from Q4
Yesterday Google announced it Q1 financial results and although it was slight down on its earnings forecast, you can still guess the Big G raked in healthy billion dollar profit. More interestingly, Google used this opportunity to reel off some impressive stats about its Android app culture. According to Google, a whopping three billion apps have now been installed.
This stat is made even more impressive when you look at the exponential growth: it took 20 months to hit one billion, five months to reach the second billion and just three months to nail three billion. read more
