The new Firefox 9 Aurora web browser launched on the Android Market last week with an impressive array of improvements. A series of interface changes are aimed at making Aurora the perfect accompaniment for Android tablets while support for native camera apps, faster start-up times and broader language support is also included.
Ardent users of Firefox for Android will immediately notice the Back button is now attached to the location bar, similarly to the app’s desktop cousin. The location bar has additionally been stretched to allow easier access to the Refresh and Bookmark buttons via tablets. read more

Firefox tester browser launches for Android tablets
Browser available for Honeycomb devices
A tester version of Firefox’s internet browser for Android Honeycomb tablets has been released via the ‘nightly’ builds section of the Mozilla website. This means the app is likely to have a few bugs lurking around but is almost good for mass consumption on the Android Market.
The tablet version of Firefox employs both the desktop version’s Awesomebar and tabbed browsing. Tabs have been moved to the left on the tablet version, allowing greater ease of access and a more spacious browsing experience. read more
