Korean creator of countless amazing Android assets, LG, has announced a new addition to its Google TV-toting G2 series of sets that’ll put the TVs well ahead of the pack: OnLive… One of a fewer manufacturers that makes hardware with Google TV built-in, this new deal between Lucky Goldstar and the boffins at the Big G means that, rather than having to rely on a separate box to get games on the screen, now G2 owners can head straight onto OnLive’s colossal cloud-based gaming service and get their games on demand streamed straight to the set. Google Music app launches for Google TV

Stream music through your telebox using Google's new cloud service

Following on from Google Music’s arrival on Android, the new song download and cloud storage service has made a speedy transition to Google TV.

The app works by streaming music from your library in the cloud to Google TV which will spin any chosen playlist in the background or as the soundtrack to a photo slideshow. Google is promising “future updates” to the music app which is available for download now via the Android Market. read more
