The Fast and the Furious franchise is the most successful movie-based and racing game series in mobile gaming. Period. With seven spin off titles and 15 million paid downloads in the bag, it’s no wonder Gameloft wants in. Yep, the gaming publisher has teamed up with film studio Universal to bring us the Android game version of the next FATF movie installment, Fast Five.
Given Gameloft is the master of the film tie-in, console conversion and of course the ace Asphalt racing game series, the new relationship with Universal feels like a good fit. In fact watching the trailer for the game (see below) its looks similar to the Asphalt games: high octane racing through city streets leaving a trail of mayhem and destruction. read more
