Facebook denies snooping on Android users' text messages

Facebook has accused The Sunday Times of “creative conspiracy theorizing” after the social network was reported to have “admitted reading text messages” via its Android app.

The spat relates to the app’s permissions, which Facebook admits do grant its software “read/write” the ability to access texts. read more
