Before now, if you wanted to access and edit cloud-based Google Docs on your Android smartphone or tablet, it meant hopping onto the web browser. Although still mainlined to the internet (there no offline viewing right now), the new Google Docs Android app, thankfully takes the faff out of this process and adds a killer feature to boot.
With its simple and clean UI, the app makes the mobile Google Docs experience relatively painless. As well as the core functionality of accessing, viewing and editing your word, spreadsheets and presentation docs, it lets you share them with contacts on your device, upload content also stored on a phone or tablet and even open up file attachments in Gmail. read more
